They say you only get handed what you can handle. I often think that sometimes one really can’t handle much in their lives. When you feel boxed in from all sides your anxiety, stress, anger, and sadness is trying to tell you hey maybe I need to take a look at what I’m doing and slow down and make new goals so I can change the way I’m responding to my daily life.

This has happened to me many times in my life and believe me you feel stuck and scared but you have to step back and listen to your emotions so you can better yourself and your life. To often we tend to hear our heads more than we hear our emotions and our hearts. It gets hard to hear anything when your mind gets involved with well buckle up honey it’s about to get bumpy and you have to toughen up this is just life.

I’m not saying life is easy but when your emotions are so hard to ignore you better listen to them. I was like this by the time I ended a job I had been doing for years, it felt like I was going off to the slaughter house every day I went to work. My days off was consumed with fear of having to go back. One day my body had finally said enough and when it was apparent I was physically getting sick from the trauma that I had gone through with this job. Twice almost dying on the job. I knew it was enough and I had to change my goals and breathe again.

It was a difficult but well worth it to make those changes and become a happier person. I’m at the end of another journey at this stage of my life and I’m focused on helping others reach their true potential for a more mindful life.
